Kambi Group and online sportsbook operator LeoVegas have announced a multi-year renewal of their partnership.

According to the deal, apart from its AI-powered trading and Bet Builder tool, Kambi will continue to offer LeoVegas Group access to its sportsbook technology and services.

The partnership, which was first established in 2016, has been renewed twice and as a result, LeoVegas Group has added BetUK and Expekt to its list of sports betting brands powered by Kambi in addition to LeoVegas.

Further, LeoVegas Group also has plans to introduce its sportsbook in newly regulated markets throughout the year under a variety of different brand names.

Meanwhile, LeoVegas Group reported a 30% rise in revenue from sports betting alone in 2022.

Kristian Nylén, Kambi Group CEO and Co-Founder, said: “We are delighted to extend our sportsbook partnership with LeoVegas Group. Renewing this partnership for a second time is a further testament to the strength of Kambi’s technology and services as we continue to pioneer next-generation betting entertainment for players across the globe.”

Per Carlander, Director of Sports Strategy at LeoVegas Group, said: “Our recent successful launch of expekt in Denmark and the rapid growth of BetUK in the UK highlight our ambitious plans to expand internationally and increase our focus on sports betting and in Kambi we have a partner to enable us to do just that.

“At LeoVegas Group, we promise our customers the greatest iGaming experience – and to deliver that within sports betting we need to stay innovative together with our partners. That’s why we are very pleased to extend our partnership with Kambi.”

Recently, Kambi Group received a new five-year licence in the Swedish market.
