The iGaming host hopes its well-established customer base in a range of regulated states will herald a seamless transition into Michigan.
Internet Vikings is confident its iGaming software platforms will raise vested interest from industry-related companies looking to make a mark in the Hoosier State.
The company’s Head of Hosting Services, Kristoffer Ottosson, has said on its Indiana expansion: “It is just wonderful to see how the US is responding to our innovative offerings. As we have moved across the States, we have quickly acquired customers and had amazing results.”
Indiana is well positioned to accommodate the iGaming developer’s service offer, with 13 land-based and riverboat casinos established and verified by the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) in 2019.
As of 2022, three regulated licensing categories now exist in the Indiana market; certificate holders, vendors and service providers. Online gaming is recognised as inclusive to these categories, with online sports betting becoming the latest authorised vertical in Indiana.
Aware of these expanding regulations in the state, Internet Vikings preempted its Indiana arrival by initiating its local data centre in Q4 of 2021. This was quickly followed by the commencement of its hosting service operations, which offers bespoke solutions for all industry-related businesses.
With the swiftness of Internet Vikings’ move into Indiana, Co-Founder and CCO Rickard Vikstrom feels certain the company’s future is without boundaries.
He said: “All that we want, all that we strive for, year after year, is to assist others in recognising and embracing the blossoming world of online gaming. We are really happy to have taken another step across America and Indiana is certainly another significant milestone on this journey.”
