Videoslots has appointed Clive Spiteri as its new CFO. Spiteri arrives in the role following his previous position as Director of Finance at Push Gaming, having worked in the financial sector since 2007.
Spiteri’s first notable role was at the Bank of Valletta, starting as a Regulatory Officer in October 2007 before taking on the role of Management Accounts Officer between 2009 to 2010.
He then worked at HSBC, RS2 Software and Novum Bank between 2010 and 2019, with titles of Senior Finance Officer, Financial Controller and Head of Finance respectively.
After a year as Group CFO at Calamatta Cuschieri, Spiteri took on another CFO role, this time at Insignia Cards. He left this role in 2021, before taking on his previous role as Director of Finance at Push Gaming.
On his appointment at Videoslots, Spiteri said: “As a CFO, I envision a future where our finance function becomes a powerful force for transformation, offering strategic insights and generating value throughout the entire organisation.”
Videoslots Deputy CEO Ulle Skottling said the company was “thrilled” to bring Spiteri on as CFO, stating: “His expertise in finance and vision for transformation will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and grow in the iGaming industry.”
The appointment comes following several other C-suite appointments this year, with Anna Komemi appointed as COO in late January and Klas Winberg brought on as CCO in early February.
Komemi comes to the role with over 15 years of experience with various iGaming companies, while Winberg comes with over 20 years of experience, having worked with companies including Betfair, Catena and Expekt among others.
