International Game Technology (IGT) has announced an upgrade to video poker offerings in the Netherlands. Through a deployment of 500 PeakBarTop cabinets at Holland Casino gaming venues across the region, IGT aims to modernise the gaming experience.

Pieter Boers, VP Gaming & Services at Holland Casino, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasising that IGT’s extensive experience and leadership in video poker made them the preferred choice for enhancing Holland Casino’s offerings.

Nick Khin, IGT’s COO, Gaming, echoed Boers’ sentiments: “We’re thrilled that Holland Casino entrusted IGT to help modernise its video poker offering.”

The PeakBarTop cabinet features an ergonomic design that includes a 23-inch curved, full-HD display, a front-mounted ticket printer, and an embedded card reader. The cabinet offers enhanced lighting and sound, a USB mobile device charging port, and a play-level indicator for service staff. The inclusion of embedded Bluetooth technology enables seamless integration with IGT’s cashless gaming systems technology.

This partnership between IGT and Holland Casino underscores the importance of innovation and customer satisfaction in the gaming industry.

Aside from video poker in the Netherlands, IGT also has other ventures including cloud-based RGS, partnering with Atlantic Lottery in Canada and integrating Fennica Gaming’s VLT content into IGT’s system as they tackle the international market together. The company has also recently resolved a dispute with fellow supplier Acres.
