Lotto24, an online lottery provider in Germany, is marking its 12th anniversary with a celebration of achievements and record-breaking ps.
Since its inception in 2012, Lotto24 has been a key player in the online lottery market in Germany, claiming to have become the first company to offer lotteries on the internet.
With over 5.3 million customers and more than €1.7bn ($1.85bn) paid out in winnings, Lotto24 has now established itself as the leading online lottery provider in the country.
Last year, the company saw a surge in record winners, with a lucky player from Bavaria recently clinching the €62m jackpot.
Beyond its financial achievements, Lotto24 has also aimed to support societal causes in a range of ways. As such, every ticket sold over the past twelve years has contributed to educational, health and cultural initiatives. Furthermore, proceeds from Lottos24’s charity lotteries have been channelled into various educational projects.
In total, Lotto24 has raised over €1.5bn for societal causes.
