BetUK becomes All-Weather Championships sponsor

BetUKARCListen To Article

Ahead of the series’ 10th season, BetUK and Arena Racing Company (ARC) have inked a deal that will see the former occupy advertising space across 600 races over the next three years.

Specifically, BetUK will sponsor marathon, middle distance and sprint races staged during winter meetings at ARC’s all-weather tracks.

The company operates four of the six all-weather racecourses in Britain: Southwell, Wolverhampton, Lingfield Park and Newcastle.

Around these four racecourses, BetUK banners and adverts will be displayed “prominently,” while racecards will feature the brand’s logo.

The LeoVegas-owned company has also obtained naming rights to all of the races across the series.

“BetUK, Britain’s fastest-growing betting brand, is proud to sponsor the All-Weather Championships in their 10th season,” said Chris Welch, LeoVegas Group Chief Commercial Officer.

“We are thrilled to sponsor 600 races over the next three years. As this is our first major racing sponsorship, it was important to find the right partner and the right quality races that match our vision and ambition for the BetUK brand.”

Likewise, David Leyden Dunbar, ARC Director of Commercial Strategy & Partnerships, said: “As the All-Weather Championships enter their 10th season, they are now a firmly established part of the British horseracing calendar.

“I’m delighted to welcome our new partner, BetUK, to the Championships and thank them for their support of the sprint, middle distance and marathon categories.”

The Championships’ 10th season will get underway tomorrow, Tuesday 18 October, at Newcastle racecourse.
