The partnership will allow the online operator to maintain a strong presence across Blast Premier’s Counter-Strike (CS:GO) tournaments in 2021 for a third year.

Betway’s branding will feature heavily across all seven CS:GO tournaments next year, which will include more content opportunities and bespoke giveaways, adding to collaborations that feature professional esports players taking on several Counter-Strike themed challenges.

The operator and Blast Premier have worked together for the past two years, teaming up for CS:GO grassroots event Blast Rising in May, and in June for the Bounty Hunt Dota 2 tournament.

Betway head of esports Adam Savinson, said: “Over the last two years, we have built an incredibly successful working relationship with Blast.

“Our collaborative approach to working with Blast has created some of our best activations to date, and we look forward to building on our success in 2021.”

Blast Premier’s 2021 season is expected to feature up to 286 matches in seven events with 80 teams competing overall and $2.5m in prize money up for grabs.

In 2015, Betway became the first major bookmaker to launch a dedicated esports portal and has since become the main sponsor of esports teams Berlin International Gaming (BIG) and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), among others.
