Igaming content provider Booming Games has announced that it obtained a licence from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) on 24 April 2023, allowing it to further increase its European presence.

The company is now permitted to provide its content to licenced Swedish gaming operators. As a result, Swedish players will still have access to titles like Rodfather MegawaysTM, Cash Pig, Buffalo Hold and Win and TNT Bonanza.

This comes after the SGA made it mandatory for all providers of online casino games to secure a licence before 23 July 2023. The new licencing policy is intended to ensure players’ welfare and the integrity of the Swedish gaming industry.

Frederik Niehusen, Booming Games’ CCO, said: “We are thrilled to have obtained a full Swedish B2B gaming license, which will allow us to expand our presence in the fast-growing Swedish market. Being among the first providers to acquire this licence is a testament to our commitment. This achievement will enable us to build on our existing strengths and further develop our product offerings.”

Booming Games, meanwhile, launched the Super Duper slot machine in March. The slot machine has a blue background and shining stars and players must keep an eye out for the special Super Duper Scatter symbol.

The free spins feature of the slot machine is also activated by landing three or more Super Duper Scatter symbols during the base game. Any winnings generated during the 10 free spins are tripled.

Further, wins on pay lines with any quantity of Wild x3 symbols are then tripled again.
