Not only has FanDuel become official partners with the NHL, it has also partnered up with the New Jersey Devils, its first agreement in sports betting with an NHL team.
The deal will allow FanDuel to offer its daily fantasy customers exclusive NHL content and VIP experiences, such as attending the NHL All-Star Game and the 2019 NHL Winter Classic between Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins on New Year’s Day.
Matt King, CEO of FanDuel, said: “Joining forces with the National Hockey League was the perfect step up for us as both our sports betting and fantasy sports businesses continue to grow.”
Kip Levin, COO of FanDuel Group, said: “We will continue to be at the forefront of the action for hockey fans. Our partnership with the Devils allows us to be on the ice during the action and in-game messaging is the perfect way to reach hockey fans during the games.”
