Pro League Network (PLN) has added Jack McGrail and David Weinstein to its executive team.

McGrail will join the team as Regulatory Advisor. He was formerly Executive Director of the Oregon Racing Commission, New Mexico’s Horsemen’s Association and a gaming attorney. Weinstein will take on the role of Head of Content, having formerly been VP of Production at Buzzfeed and Complex Networks.

PLN broadcasts a variety of niche sports in its portfolio, all of which feature live betting options. Its goal is to have easy-to-watch sports that casual viewers can enjoy and bet on at any hour of the day.

While PLN prides itself on its relaxed manner of programming, it is making a serious decision here in the hiring of two industry veterans…

Weinstein’s role will be to oversee content and production of its portfolio sports for fan consumption. In his role, he’ll provide creative direction and help streamline livestream and short-form video production.

PLN has a portfolio of leagues on offer such as SlapFight Championship, World Strongman, CarJitsu, Xtreme Longdrive, Major League Paintball’s NXL ProSeries and US Pro Mini Golf.

PLN Co-Founders Bill Yucatonis and Mike Salvaris said of the appointments: “We’ve produced some great and innovative sporting events that have found audiences both through their production and on sportsbooks. Jack and David bring key experience and skills that will help us take the next step and bring more sports to market.”

“In bringing them on board, we know Jack and David will accelerate our work producing fun, exciting sports that fans across the country can wager on.”
